THE EUROPEAN GRANTS CENTRE
Leaders in Grants Consultancy
The European Grants Centre was established in 1991 to advise UK firms and charities on obtaining financial aid from the multitude of schemes now available to them from European, UK Government, and local sources.
The Centre is privately-funded, providing free advice and consultancy services on a success-based fee structure.
Our work involves 5 key tasks:
advising clients on the specific schemes to apply for
preparing a detailed project report and business plan
negotiating the case for assistance with grants
appealing against negative or unsatisfactory decisions
finalising arrangements for grants
We take responsibility for all the tedious paperwork involved in applying for the grant and ensure that the relevant officials process your application as quickly as possible. We give you the benefit of having successfully applied for grants for more than 100 organisations, using this experience to maximise your chances of success.
We maintain a comprehensive database containing detailed information on every relevant grant, award and loan scheme. We also prepare reports, for a nominal fee, which summarise all the schemes appropriate to an organisation's circumstances.
Most companies which manufacture products, and especially those with export potential, qualify for grants. We are particularly interested in projects which involve new product development, capital investment and job creation. Companies operating in the UK Assisted Areas, shaded on the DTI map,
(http://www.dti.gov.uk/assistedareas/annex3.htm) are usually entitled to a wider range of schemes, offering additional support.
We particularly welcome enquiries from the following types of firm:
Subsidiaries of multinationals considering investment in either the UK or another European country;
Firms involved in research and development projects (particularly under the European Sixth Framework Programme).
Farmers considering diversification projects.
Firms considering a joint venture in Europe with a firm already based in Europe (including the UK)
Firms involved in fish processing
Charities or Voluntary organisations considering an application for funding from the UK National Lotteries Board.
Organisations cannot expect any grant towards past or already-committed expenditure, so it is essential that you seek our advice well in advance of starting to incur costs on an investment project.
All telephone and e-mail advice is provided free of charge.
There is no up-front fee: we charge a 'success fee' which equals 10% of any grant offered up to £75,000 in value.
When grants offered exceed £75,000, the success fee relating to the part of the grant above this figure falls to 5%.
When a grant offer exceeds £250,000, our fee for the part above this figure falls from 5% to 3%.
Supplementary charges are made for travelling and accommodation outside the UK.
